Brewstead Early Access Pro Purchase Terms

Specific terms for the one-time Brewstead V0.1 Early Access Pro offer

Version 0.1 | Prepared: August 22, 2026 | Effective upon first public publication of this version

1. What You Are Buying

Brewstead Early Access Pro is a pre-release paid entitlement for Brewstead. The initial Early Access release may focus primarily or entirely on the Recipe side of Brewstead, including recipe creation, planning, calculations, and related Pro guidance. Additional brewing workflow features may be previewed as in development for V1 but are not guaranteed to be released during Early Access.

The exact features available when you purchase are the features identified as available now on the Brewstead purchase page. Preview images or descriptions marked "In Development," "Coming to V1," or similar are not part of the current Early Access purchase unless Brewstead expressly says otherwise.

2. Eligibility and Verified Account

You must be at least 21 years old, be located in the United States for the current Early Access offering, and comply with the Brewstead Terms of Service. Pro activation requires a verified Brewstead account and a valid email address. Brewstead may require you to complete an email-link or other verification process before Pro becomes active.

3. Price and Taxes

The Brewstead Early Access Pro price for this offer is a one-time payment of $49.99, plus applicable taxes or similar charges shown before purchase. You will receive an electronic purchase confirmation or receipt. The payment processor handles payment credentials; Brewstead does not store your full card number.

4. Entitlement Duration

A completed, non-refunded Early Access purchase provides Pro access for the duration of the Brewstead Early Access program and then for 12 months beginning on Brewstead's official V1 launch date.

For these Purchase Terms, "V1 launch" means the date Brewstead publicly designates a generally available release as Version 1.0. The V1 launch date is not tied to a particular app store or platform. Registered purchasers are expected to receive a service email announcing the V1 launch and resulting entitlement period, and Brewstead may also display the information in the app or account.

If V1 takes longer than expected, your qualifying Early Access Pro access continues throughout Early Access. Brewstead does not promise a particular V1 launch date in these Purchase Terms.

5. Not Lifetime Pro; Future Pricing

The $49.99 Early Access purchase is not a lifetime Pro license. After the 12-month post-V1 entitlement ends, continued Pro access will be governed by whatever paid offering Brewstead makes available at that time, if any. Brewstead does not promise a particular post-V1 monthly, annual, one-time, or other price or pricing model.

6. Early Access Changes and Availability

Early Access software may be incomplete, contain bugs, change, or temporarily become unavailable. Brewstead may add, modify, postpone, remove, or temporarily disable Early Access features or services for development, maintenance, safety, legal, security, reliability, or operational reasons. Brewstead may also require updates when an older release becomes insecure or backend-incompatible.

Brewstead may remain Recipe-focused for much or all of Early Access. Buying Early Access does not guarantee that all planned V1 features will be released before V1.

Feature availability and release timing may differ by platform. Purchasing Early Access does not guarantee that Android, iOS, web, or any other supported platform will receive every feature at the same time.

7. Offline Pro Grace Period

After a Pro entitlement has been successfully verified, Brewstead may allow a cached Pro entitlement to remain usable for up to 15 days without successful contact with Brewstead's backend. After that grace period, the device may need to reconnect to validate the entitlement before Pro features continue.

8. Refunds

A qualifying Early Access purchaser may request a refund for any reason within 14 days of the purchase date. Additional exceptional refunds may be offered where Brewstead cannot reasonably resolve a genuine incompatibility on a device that meets Brewstead's published support requirements, for duplicate charges, or in other circumstances described in the Brewstead Refund Policy.

If Brewstead permanently discontinues the Early Access program without a general V1 release or a successor release that carries forward the purchaser's entitlement, paid Early Access purchasers will be eligible for a refund of the $49.99 Early Access purchase price. This protection applies even if the product is renamed or rebranded; a successor release under a different name may satisfy Brewstead's obligation if the purchaser's rights are carried forward.

A refund ends the associated Pro entitlement. A voluntary refund generally disqualifies the purchaser from permanent Founding Brewer recognition. Refund details are governed by the Brewstead Refund Policy.

9. Founding Brewer Recognition

A qualifying purchaser whose Early Access purchase remains completed and not voluntarily refunded may receive permanent "Founding Brewer" account recognition. If Brewstead later introduces public usernames, qualifying users may choose or be required to create a username before the recognition can be displayed on public shared pages. Founding Brewer recognition is honorary and does not provide lifetime Pro or another permanent paid entitlement.

Brewstead may remove or withhold honorary recognition when a purchase is refunded, reversed for payment fraud, or the account is terminated for serious misconduct.

10. Account Changes and Transfers

Pro follows the underlying Brewstead account identity. Brewstead may allow you to update a verified email address, username, or other account details without losing Pro. Paid entitlements may not be freely moved between separate accounts or sold to another person. Brewstead may make a case-by-case exception for a legitimate account mistake or recovery situation after appropriate verification.

11. Chargebacks, Fraud, and Abuse

A reversed, charged-back, or fraudulent payment may cause the related Pro entitlement to be suspended or revoked while the dispute is unresolved. Repeated payment abuse, deliberate Pro circumvention, cracked builds, entitlement manipulation, or serious fraud may result in permanent ineligibility for future paid access. Brewstead may retain limited fraud or transaction records reasonably necessary to enforce such restrictions even if the user later deletes ordinary Brewstead content, as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Rebranding, Entity Formation, or Ownership Changes

Brewstead may be renamed, rebranded, transferred to a newly formed business entity, restructured, sold, or lawfully succeeded without requiring you to repurchase the Early Access entitlement. A legitimate change in the product name or business owner does not by itself erase your accrued Early Access rights.

13. Incorporated Policies and Contact

These Purchase Terms supplement the Brewstead Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Brewing Safety Disclaimer. If there is a direct conflict concerning the specific Early Access purchase, these Purchase Terms control for that purchase unless applicable law requires otherwise.
